OK, have I hit a new low? I am googling ideas for a first date. Dinner and a movie is boring, and I can't talk during a movie. I want an idea for a date that would involve an activity, preferably a creative activity. There has got to be something interesting that we can do.
Suggestions?!?!?

make a pie, seriously, pies are fun, and they involve doing stuff (cutting apples, washing fruit, blah whatever) then, assembling it, then waiting while it backs (talking time!) then, eating time! followed by more talking tim and pie-analysis!

ice-skating is fun, it can be a new skill for people, and therefore, perhaps anxiety-ridden.
as far as creative activities go, i think paper is fun to work with and compared to my many, many geeky and very heavy-duty crafting tools (glue gun, huge-ass rotary cutter, yarn ball winder etc) it shouldn't scare or intimidate a man?
can you do origami? and make someone a set of like, 12 identical paper orbs to decorate someones christmas tree ? that could be fun to learn how to do something like that, together, and in the end, you can say, awesome i learned a new skill and knowledge is power, i'm a badass!
here is a beautiful, creative craft i did with a dude! it was his idea for something fun to do on valentines day. he made origami animals, flowers, plants, stuff, etc, and i then, i cut up a coat hanger and hot glued string to its many pieces, making a mobile! did that make sense? i have it in a box in the closet, i could take a phota for ya!
